In my personal life, I am now officially disabled from chronic nerve pain combined with phantom limb syndrome and a growing weakness in my limbs. Thankfully, I had disability insurance, and after two years they, along with Social Security and seven doctors have all agreed that my condition is currently irreversible and untreatable. I am attempting Ketamine infusions right now, which are difficult. They cause severe hallucinations, very vivid nightmares, nausea, paranoia and this last time an almost tangible loss of identity. The result is being able to push the pain aside just enough for my medications to allow me to push the pain aside a bit more... but I am still always in pain. 24 hours a day, non stop. Pure f**king hell.

I spend all day, every day at my house, with the occasional trip out to the store or a movie, when I am well enough to drive.

LEGOS have begun taking up a large part of my life, as well as pen pal relationships with friends from over seas... thank goodness for the ipad.
